Lillehammer Downhill and Bobsleigh Simulator

Experience downhill skiing and bobsledding the way the athletes did during the 1994 Olympics. Technology previously reserved for pilots and astronauts now combines the movements of a flight simulator with a large-screen film presentation, creating an exceptional and realistic experience. The simulator is located in the Olympic Park between Håkon Hall and Kristin Hall. It has 12 seats and the «trip» takes five minutes.

The Snowman Club
The Snowman Club is located at the Skileik (ski playground) arena, an area specially designed for children. Ski race for kids every weekend, with diplomas and surprises for all participants. The Snowman Club meets at Gaiastova on Saturdays, and at the Lower Station on Wednesdays 10.30-14.30.

Activities in the Øyerfjellet mountains
Øyer Fjellstue (mountain lodge) offers ski lessons (Cross-country and slalom), as well as a number of other activities every week for guests and others living in the area.

Guided tours. Demonstration of hunting traps. Ski trips w/hunting traps/barbecuing, etc. Demonstration of ski clothes / ski waxing. Ice fishing. Slide presentation. "Learn to build an igloo". Kids' evening with lots of fun. "Extreme trips" for daredevils. Bus tour of the Olympic arenas.

  • Lillehammer Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track is the only artificially cooled bobsleigh and luge track in the Nordic countries. The track is 1710 m in length with a vertical drop of 114 m featuring a total of 16 curves. Maximum speed for four-man bob is 130 km/h. Now the public can enjoy this thrilling experience of speed with a choice between taxibob, bob rafting/family bob and luge.
