In Trysnes Marina you will find a tennis court and a sandwollyball court. You also will find a small nice and cozy sand beach for the children just next to the apartments. There also are marked trails, if you like a walk in the woods to enjoy the lovely and still nature. In addition, if you go out by boat there are large open areas with great beaches and also nice trails. The wharf area is a natural place for residents, tourists and boaters where they can roam freely in the maritime environment.
This area also provides great opportunities for diving and snorkeling. Boating and fishing are popular activities for the whole year. Lobster fishing in the autumn and ice fishing in the winter is also something the people look forward to. In the wintertime it is great possibilities to go skiing in the area by Trysnes, or you can go up in the mountains to the popular ski- and slalom slopes, like Bortelid or Hovden.
With its attractive location on the ocean-side, this was originally an old sailing port. Today, it is a popular holiday destination for families and sports fishermen. Perhaps not so surprising. Who would not be charmed by this untouched coastal beauty with its tiny islands, white sandy bays and sun worm rocks.
