Skysstasjonen Cabins/ Camping
Røldal is a mountain hamlet, 400 metres above sea-level. From here you can hike and fish in the mountains or fish in the Røldalsvatnet lake. There are as many as four fjords to choose between, all within 45 km.: the Saudafjord, Hardangerfjord, Åkrafjord and Hyllsfjord.
Owner Berit and Oddbjørn Lynghammer welcome you to a mountain holiday, summer as well as winter. With 16 years’ experience in catering and accommodation, we will do our utmost to ensure that your stay with us is enjoyable.

Cabin, 6 beds
The cabin has two bedrooms that can sleep 6 in total. Room no. 1 has a double bed and an upper bunk. Room no. 2 has a double bed and an upper bunk. The cabin comprises shower & toilet facilities, kitchen (w/utensils), electric heating and terrace with seating. Duvets and pillows included, bed linen available for hire (NOK 100).
Løo (14 beds)
Can sleep 14 in 4 bedrooms + open loft with mattresses if required. 3 toilets, 2 showers, well-equipped kitchen, satellite TV. Duvets and pillows, electric heating, refectory table with seating for 16 people. Ideal for families travelling together, seminars and meetings. Catering available from the kitchen at Skysstasjonen if required. Løo is situated only 100m from Skysstasjonen.
Gamlastovo (8 beds)
Gamlastovo has been built around an old log building in Røldal dating back to the 1870s. It used to be a family home, and the man of the house was the village’s handyman. One of his tasks was pulling out teeth as the village had neither a dentist nor a doctor until after 1916. Gamlastovo is the middle floor of the building. Here, you’ll also find a kitchen corner with a cooker, refrigerator and everything you need to prepare your own food. The “loft”, comprises 2 bedrooms and can sleep a total of 4 people. The ground floor is completely separated from the rest, and comprises a living room, shower/toilet facilities and a kitchen with dishwasher. Sofa + bed in Stovo, and one bedroom accessed via a narrow steep staircase. Here you’ll find a double bed with an upper bunk.
Cabin, 7 beds
The cabin has two bedrooms, and can sleep 7 in total. Room no. 1 has two lower and two upper bunks. Room no. 2 has a double bed and an upper bunk. The cabin comprises dishwasher, shower & toilet facilities, kitchen (w/utensils), electric heating and terrace with seating. Duvets and pillows included, bed linen available for hire (NOK 100).
Cabin, 5 beds
Log cabin with turf roof. Two bedrooms with 5 beds in total. Room no. 1 has a lower and an upper bunk. Room no. 2 has a double bed and an upper bunk. The cabin comprises shower & toilet facilities, kitchen (w/utensils), electric heating and terrace with seating. Duvets and pillows included, bed linen available for hire (NOK 100).
Cabin w/ toilet facilities, no shower
The cabin has one room comprising a double bed, cold & hot water, toilet facilities (no shower), kitchen corner w/utensils), TV, duvets and pillows (bed linen NOK 100), electric heating. 40m from service block with shower, drying facilities, washing machine and tumble drier.
Cabin 8 & 9, without shower and toilet
The cabin has one room comprising a double bed and an upper bed, kitchen corner (w/utensils), TV, duvets and pillows (bed linen NOK 100), electric heating. 10m from service block with shower & toilet, drying facilities, washing machine and tumble drier.
Restaurant and reception
Have a reception, restaurant, TV-lounge and toilet facilities for camping. The restaurant can seat 50 + 20 + 20 people.
