Church of Skjervøy

Small timber church dating from 1728 with ornate interior; 1664 baroque altar, 1777 pulpit. In the hallway particular gravestone from 1663. Skjervøy's first church dates from the Middle Ages, and the present church is the oldest wooden one in Troms.

The church is usually closed, but can be opened on request.
