Restaurant Ramberg Gjestegård

Ramberg Gjestegård has 10 well-equipped chalets, all with mini-kitchen, shower/toilet and ready made up beds. One of our cabins is suitable for wheelchair users. Cosy, small camp site with 16 power points. Child-friendly location. Service building with full facilities. The site has a panoramic view of the open ocean and midnight sun.

In the main building there is a reception and a cosy well-renowned restaurant. Here, we serve coffee and cake, light meals and an exciting á la carte menu based on North Norwegian ingredients that our skilful chefs prepare with dedication and expertise. Naturally, with our location in the centre of Lofoten, fish dominates our menu. The restaurant is a member of the association “Arctic menu“. Ramberg Gjestegård is fully licensed for indoor and outdoor service on our cosy terrace.

For those who enjoy getting out and about, we have bicycles, kayaks and boats (with or without motor) available for hire. There are excellent fishing possibilities at sea and from the shore. The local hiking territory is varied and can offer gentle strolls as well as more demanding fell walks.

On the outer side of the Lofoten archipelago, with a gorgeous view of the great ocean and a kilometer-long sandy beach, the restaurant of Ramberg Gjestegård is located.

This is where you find inspiration and make use of the resources this wild and beautiful nature so graciously. From the ocean we can offer you fresh fish brought ashore by the local fishing fleet, or we prepare the raw materials based on methods that have been passed on from generation to generation through hundreds of years: like drying, bokning (half-drying), salting, curing and smoking. From the land we get the tastiest herbs which develop a rare taste and aroma during the long, light summer nights. When it comes to the meat production in Lofoten, we especially appreciate the Lofot lamb, which grazes on salty grass found between rocks along the shore and juicy herbs far up into the mountains.
