The large grass lawns, the big shade trees and the view of the Vigeland sculpture park all contribute to – in the minds of many - making Frognerbadet the Nordic region’s most beautiful outdoor pool. If you are too young to enjoy swimming laps, there are alternatives: water slides and a diving pool with jumps at 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10 meters that has long been part of Oslo youth’s informal education. And even if you don’t dare to dive from the 10-meter anymore, some things never change: What tastes better that a hot dog from the kiosk after your swim?

Frognerbadet has always been a special place for the people of Oslo since it was opened in 1956,


Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
