The Norwegian Mining museum (Norsk Bergverksmuseum) is situated in Kongsberg town centre, in the old melting hut for the Kongsberg Silver mines. At the museum you can visit five museums under the same roof: The Norwegian Mining museum, the Royal Mints museum, the Kongsberg Industry museum, the Kongsberg Skimuseum and an exhibition about Norwegian mines and minerals.
Join an exciting tour in the King's mine. We go into the mine by a mine train 2.3 km into the biggest mine in Kongsberg. You will be taken on a breathtaking guiding in the shafts, adits and stopes of the adit level in the King's mine. There is also a treasure hunt for children.
