The land of the midnight sun is large and varied. The landscape consists of endless wide open spaces, high mountains, conifer forests and thousands of islands. With the world's best raw ingredients right outside the door, the many fish restaurants are able to prepare the most outstanding sea-food dishes. The road connecting the islands in Lofoten and Vesterålen take you through a fantastic landscape from fishing village to fishing village, and the towns in the north have many offers. In the summer you can experience the winter phenomenon, the northern lights, by visitng the Nordlysplanetariet (Northern Lights Planetarium) in Tromsø.

This is an old Norwegian proverb (Dette er et gammelt Norsk ordtak). If you have traveled to Norway "The Country of the North", you surely would have a lot to tell about and tons of beautiful pictures to show your family and friends.
