Lillehammer Tourism

Lillehammer (25.500 inhabitants), located on the northern shore of Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake, is Norway's oldest ski resort. It was the 1994 Winter Olympics that placed the Lillehammer region on the international "tourist map".
Lillehammer Ski Resorts represent 5 alpine resorts in the vicinity to Lillehammer. Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Skeikampen and Sjusjøen are all within an hour. More and more tourists are discovering what excellent qualities Lillehammer and the surrounding area can offer with respect to education, recreation, sports and culture. The residents of Lillehammer are proud of their town and welcome you - summer and winter. The mountains surrounding the Lillehammer region are criss crossed with cross country tracks. You will find up to 1000 km. Youth and adults can now have a blast at Lekeland Hafjell! Northern Europe's most advanced climbing wall is in Håkons Hall - 20 metres high. The wall can be tilted in a variety of angles depending on the desired level of difficulty....
