Lierne National Park Centre is authorized for the national parks Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella and Lierne. Through the exhibition "living off nature, living with predators" the centre wishes to give visitors the knowledge of what nature has meant to the people of the region. It also aims to convey that the management of nature is something that concerns everyone, even if there are different views on how this best can be done.
Lierne National Park Centre provides information about hiking in the national parks and in nearby areas. Guided tours in the centre. Expeditions in the land of the bears.
The centre is located in the town hall in the municipality Lierne. Here you will come by following the E6 to Bjørgan just south of Grong. From here, follow Highway 74 over the mountain Li-fjellet. The distance from the E6 to the centre is approximately 65 km.
Outside the regular opening hours guided tours can be arranged by contacting us.
