The town of Mandal is a great starting point for short or long cycling trips. The centre of town is nice and flat, and trips can be made without too many uphill struggles.

The coastal stretch of Mandal to Lindesnes is rich in fish. Mackerel, cod, pollack, ling and coalfish are the most usual sorts.
