Hiking in Northern Norway

Try the 800 km Nordkalottruta, or parts of it, from northern Sweden to Kautokeino in inland Finnmark. The route criss-crosses Norway’s borders with Sweden and Finland, and runs through several national parks where you can enjoy the diversity of nature.

In Svalbard it is important to take special safety precautions into account with regard to polar bears.
