The golf course is situated in lovely natural surroundings in the district of Sveio, approximately 20 km north of Haugesund. Invitingly green fairways and greens make beautiful contrasts with the heath and moorland.

Sveio is renowned for its freshwater and sea-angling areas. Haugalandet’s new golf course is located close to the centre of Sveio, and for those who prefer art, Ryvarden Lighthouse Cultural Centre always has an interesting exhibition on display and something tasty on offer in the café.

Golf students are given access to Haugaland Golf Klubb at Sveio Golf Park with the opportunity to live at the course. Training takes place at Sveio Golf Park with students then chauffered to school. Sveio Golf Park is developing into one of the best facilities on the west of Norway and plans are now in place for a new state of the art driving range and training facility. On site we have an 18 hole Championship Golf Course, Driving Range, fitness centre, spa, simulator room and Pro shop.

HTG is a great opportunity for a golfer of any level with an aspiration of developing their golf game. Using the golf facilities in Sveio as well as the new modern school in Haugesund students will find it difficult to find better. Training takes place on both outdoor and indoor facilities with video analysis used when working on swing changes. Also as part of the training physical fitness is covered and mental training.
