Storefjell Seterhotell was built by Gunhild and Knut Nibstad in 1930. Accommodating 30 people, the hotel became the beginning of a travel and leisure business its founders could not have imagined.
In 1956, Gerd and Andres Nibstad took over the management of the hotel. Together they continuously developed the resort until they handed it over to their children in the late 1980's.
After the latest additions, the hotel has 300 rooms and all the facilities to accommodate both courses and conferences and the holiday and leisure market.
The Mini Water Park
The hotel has a "mini water park" with jacuzzis, roman bath, saunas, swimming pools, children's pool and a 50 meter water slide, winding its way round the nightclub and ending up in the pool.
