Educational nature trail along the glacier`s edge. Information boards providing details on the glacier and the surrounding countryside. This walk can be done with or without guide. Advance bookings required for guided tours. Free of charge w/o guide. Group activities, Surprise excursions, Glacier hike, Guided tour, Activity companies, Hiking tours with a guide.
Educational nature trail- Folgefonna
Near Folgefonna Summer Skiing centre you find Educational nature trail along the glacier’s edge. Information boards providing details on the glacier and the surrounding countryside. Can be done with or without guide. The educational nature trail is still under construction, for more information take directly contact with Folgefonni Breførarlag.
At Folgefonni Breførarlag, the aim to provide all customers with a broad experience. They would like to take you on a nature adventure as well as share our knowledge of the glacier and local cultural history. The groups per guide are kept reasonably small, and this enables us to adapt the experience to suit each of the participants. They are driven by love of the glacier and a desire to let more people share the spectacular experience Folgefonna.
