Easter skiing trip on the Hardangervidda mountain plateau - Schedule
Day 1 - 5th of April, 2009:
Arrival and dinner at Vasstun Guest House
Day2:
Breakfast at Vasstun, transportation to Dyranut tourist cabin. The first stage goes from Dyranut to Sandhaug tourist cabin. (28 km)
Day 3:
From Sandhaug the trip goes west to Hadlaskar. Hadlaskar is situated at the top of the Veigdalen valley, on a mound by the river, surrounded by old mountain farms. (This stage is 20 km)
Day 4:
This route goes to Litlos, via the foot of the Hårteigen mountain – the grey guide. (This stage is 24 km long).
Day 5:
From Litlos the trip goes to Tyssvassbu. Tyssvassbu is said to be the nicest self catered tourist cabin in Norway. (Stage: 24 km)
Day 6:
From Tyssvassbu the trip goes back to Odda and Vasstun Guesthouse. On the way down we will pass one of the unique nature attractions in Norway Trolltunga (the Troll tongue) and Preikestolen (Pulpit rock). (Stage: 18 km)
Day 7:
Guided tour in Odda. The day ends with a 3 course dinner and a concert: ”The great Easter fest” in Odda.
Day8:
Departure Odda.
