Bjugin name comes from the ancient name of Bjugn area, of the verb bjugr, which means bent or twisted. The hotel Bjugin Hotell is located in the administrative center of Botngård in Bjugn. From the hotel there is a walking distance to shops, malls, cafes, pub, bowling, the hall Bjugnhallen, the hall Fosenhallen, Bjugn kultursenter (centre for cultural activities) etc.
