Bakkan Gård is a cattle and dairy farm which is situated near the popular Salmon River, Stordalselva in Åfjord. Here you will find a camping site with 5 cabins / overnight rooms and caravan places with a new, modern washing / toilet facility. The camp site lies close to the farm so visitors can experience a real farming holiday!
Storddalen is a fisherman's paradise. Stordalselva is over 20 kilometers long and is one of the countries best small salmon rivers.
Stordalsvatnet (lake) is also an excellent fishing place with trout and char both in the summer and during the winter (ice fishing!).
We arrange fishing licenses and have boats to rent in Stordalsvatnet; sea fishing tours can also be organized.
The good salmon rivers have Åfjord a popular tourist destination. Bakkan Farm offers cottage rentals and camping and fishing and a host of activities. The farm is owned by Steinar City, which has made his farm available to tourists for years.
